We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. Applications from 2023 Newly Qualified Nurse/Midwife, will not be considered for this post. You must have a live NMC UK pin in order to be considered for this post. The shift pattern is 12 hour Shifts, day and night shift, seven day Service. We have the opportunity for Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our enthusiastic forward thinking teams within the Immediate Assessment Unit, (IAU), in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. As part of this team you will have responsibility for assessment, delivery and supervision of all care needs within the acute receiving environment. You Will Possess sound clinical skills for the assessment of patient's needs, implementation and evaluation of care which is evidence based. Have the ability to work to high clinical standards in this fast paced environment. Flexible, forward thinking Able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment. The successful candidates should possess excellent communication skills and decision making skills with evidence of ongoing professional development. The Acute Receiving Unit is supported by it’s own dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator, and we are passionate about supporting the wellbeing and development of our team.
