Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust is expanding our AHP corporate team to work alongside our new Director of AHPs in delivering our ambitious AHP workforce strategy. The Head of AHP workforce will have leadership and management responsibility for on-going development and sustainability of high quality and innovative workforce and education development for AHPs in line with our Trust strategies and values. This will be a dynamic role, responding to changing internal and external influences and priorities over time. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a strategic thinker and a confident leader who can collaborate and influence multiple key AHP stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach are essential. The Head of AHP workforce with be a key member of the ICS AHP faculty and support with system wide AHP workforce programmes of work, ensuring transformation and alignment with local, regional and national priorities. You will be an AHP with relevant senior leadership experience at band 8. The interview date is 23rd October. The Head of AHP Workforce has a leadership and management responsibility for on-going development and sustainability of high quality and innovative workforce and education development for AHPs in line with Trust strategies. As such this will be a dynamic role, responding to changing internal and external influences and priorities over time. The post holder will work closely with the Lead for Nursing workforce and Associate Director of Education. Manage identified staff/teams within the Corporate Directorate such as Professional Development/Practice Facilitators.
