The role will involve ensuring that the department is clean and tidy along with some administrative and other duties as requested by the senior team. The primary role is that of performing venepucture, ECG MRSA screening with the collection of urine samples. You will also be expected to support the surgical wards in the division in ensuring any blood samples which have been requested are taken in a timely manner which both supports the elective surgical pathway and patient flow within the division. Following the completion of appropriate training and assessment and under the direction of a Registered Healthcare Professional undertake:- Urine testing / urine analysis ECG recording, Glucose monitoring Medical devices Wound care using ANTT Venepuncture as per Trust policy, reporting results to the Registered Healthcare Professional on duty.
