Around 500 patients visit the Centre on a daily basis and we strive to deliver a world class service to every one of our visitors. The reception coordinator is responsible for a number of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the UCLH Macmillan Cancer Centre Daycare services. Good organisation skills and administrative experience are essential. You will be required to be proficient in using Microsoft Office and have experience of using EPIC or similar IT system. The role includes covering administrative duties across Macmillan Outpatient being a fast learner and highly adaptable to different environments is essential. This post holder will need to work a shift pattern between the hours of 08:00-20:00. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly, rotating throughout the outpatient department. The role will have both front of house and office based elements. The successful candidate, therefore, must have excellent customer service and communication skills, a high degree of empathy, diplomacy and integrity. You will be required to demonstrate sensitivity, an awareness of patients’ needs and a commitment to improving the patient experience.
