This is a newly developed Consultant Clinical Psychologist role, and the post holder will take on the position of Clinical and Professional lead for the Tier 4 CAMHS Psychology Service, across the different departments in Tier 4. This is a permanent full-time post, developed to improve the professional structure of psychology within the service, and will give the postholder the opportunity to help shape CWP's Children, Young People and Families Mental Health Services. Main duties of the job The postholder will take on a new Consultant Psychologist position, designed to have overall leadership, professionally and clinically for Clinical Psychology staff within Tier 4 CAMHS. This will be based at Ancora House, Chester, and the post covers the two CAMHS Inpatient wards, the Eating disorder Tier 4 service (CHEDS), and the psychology input for Ancora Care (a Home based treatment service set within our Assessment and Outreach Team). There will be a significant role in supervision of senior and other qualified Clinical Psychology staff, and the role will include holding a reasonable clinical caseload. A high degree of multi-disciplinary working is key, and there will be significant liaison with other agencies as required. Contributing to Service development will be important, as well as involvement in training others, and developing the psychological knowledge of other professionals within the Tier 4 service.
