We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. A 12 month, fixed term, part time vacancy has arisen for a Band 8C Consultant Clinical Psychologist with the Stewart Centre Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). This service provides high quality mental health care and treatment to individuals in South Glasgow. The postholder will deliver high intensity and highly specialist Psychological Therapies within the multi-disciplinary team, and supervise the delivery of psychological interventions and therapies delivered by a range of other staff, including qualified clinical psychologists. You will be an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, registered as such with the HCPC, have experience of secondary care adult mental health services and the delivery of evidence-based psychological therapies to adults. You must have formal training in supervision and experience in supervising the work of others. Line management experience is desirable. The postholder will join the large and dynamic South Glasgow Psychology department and enjoy extensive support and CPD opportunities.
