We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. There are two posts available: 1 fulltime (37 hours per week) and 1 part-time (29.6 hours). The shift pattern is 8.30am-16.30pm. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours. Northwest/West Dumbartonshire 0.6 FTE (3 days) & Renfrewshire/Inverclyde 0.8 FTE (4 days) but all posts are employed GGC Board wide and cross Boundary working within the 4 teams is required at times As part of the Vaccination Transformation Programme i n Scotland, we have established 4 teams across NHSGG&C to deliver Childhood immunisations. HCSW are required to ensure the smooth running of the community clinics, maintenance of cold chain procedures, ordering of all stocks and sundries and to communicate regularly with parents and carers. HCSW contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of immunisations to children in all areas of Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board. Hcsw You will be have an experience preferably of working with children and an interest in Public Health and a desire to work within a small skill mix team. The post will involve mainly working within community based clinics supporting the smooth delivery of childhood immunisations. Excellent communication skills and confidence to use IT will be essential. Full training will be given.
