We are recruiting Clinical Assistants to join our Middleton Neighbourhood Team in the South of Leeds. The Neighbourhood Teams run 8am to 10pm every day with various shift patterns. This is an exciting role that incorporates many different aspects of patient care delivered to a wide range of patients. We will support you with a fully tailored induction programme and will encourage and facilitate on-going development, including the opportunity to develop and learn skills from team members from a variety of professions. Main duties of the job You will work in a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and self management facilitators, providing care to patients in their own home. You will need to assess and respond to the changing needs of the patient, working within your own limits and seeking support from the wider clinical team where appropriate. You will provide patients with clinical support for example administering medications, undertaking wound care and carrying out observations. Please note this role does require a full Driving licence and use of your own vehicle which is essential to this job role.
