The post holder will be responsible for processing all incoming inter-trust referrals we receive from other trusts, for Prostate and Bladder cancer patients. Other responsibilities include booking patients into relevant clinics in a timely manner, whilst continuously overseeing capacity to ensure this is sufficient. With an opportunity to work closely with Admin and Clinical team members, this post is a great opportunity to feel part of a close team, with the common goal of providing excellent patient care within the expected timeframe. The Postholder Works As Part Of The Pathway Administration Team Under The Supervision Of The Service Manager, And Performs The Following Functions Processing all incoming inter-trust cancer referrals within tight weekly deadlines and co-ordinating the booking of specified appointments, and outpatient clinics, and providing administrative support to clinical staff relating to these lists. Maximising productivity and efficiency of the services and monitoring clinic capacity on a daily basis to ensure this is sufficient. As part of a team working together to provide an excellent level of patient care, including making any necessary arrangements for patients e.g. booking follow up appointments. Provide additional administration support to the multidisciplinary team this may include; acting as a source of advice and support for patients, troubleshooting non-routine matters or resolving initial complaints. Supporting the clinical and administrative teams to provide a positive patient experience.
