This post provides an ideal opportunity for a suitably qualified individual looking to continue to develop skills in general paediatrics and neonatology. The post will be based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital with some duties at Wycombe Hospital. This post will support the SHO/ ST1-3 rota. The post will include providing care in the following areas: Neonatal: Day to day care of the inpatients on the postnatal ward Attendance at high risk deliveries/neonatal resuscitations Care of postnatal babies Entering data & generating discharge summaries on the Badgernet database system General Paediatrics: Provide emergency care to sick children Day to day care of the inpatients Reviewing and seeing acute referrals at both the Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville sites Giving advice or opinions to other health professional who ask for help.
