Duties And Responsibilities And Job Specific Requirements To provide a high:quality cleaning service and taking full responsibility for specific tasks in communal areas and residential flats within Hostels. To follow all cleaning procedures. To support the councils policies and procedures regarding Health and Safety and safe working practices. To risk assess areas work and tasks to ensure a healthy and safe working environment for employees and public at large. Identify repairs and report the condition of the flats and the communal areas within the hostel/s. Liaise daily with Building Staff and Hostel Supervisor, reporting on operational problems arising, including ASB or other tenancy issues. To provide clear written information to support work undertaken to aid the management team when providing answers to corporate complaints and for use during performance reviews. To ensure customer satisfaction, by working to improve customer service, and provide the highest quality of work in line with service level agreements. To communicate with customers and other service areas by telephone or in person as required. To undergo training and coaching and achieve BICSc training standards. To take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions and to comply with all health and safety legislation as appropriate. Although you will be provided with a base, you will be required to work from various locations in accordance with the needs of the role.
