You should be a committed, dynamic, motivated professional having good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise your work and excellent communication skills. The main responsibilities will be ( with supervision as required ) To work autonomously to provide assessment and treatment/management for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including those with complex needs. Referrals are received from GP, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, MIU/A+E, self referral and other NHS colleagues. When appropriate onward referral to other services may be required. To support the development of students and other colleagues . To assist the Team Lead in the management of the Physiotherapy Service i.e to be involved in service development Personal Qualities Excellent at communicating , sometimes within a complex situation and with patients with complex needs. Able to work within a team and independently Able to work flexibly and possibly within challenging situations Forward thinking and positive so able to find solutions to problems Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
