Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies has been providing a stepped care Talking Therapies service since 2009 and consists of Psychologists, Relational Therapists, Counsellors, High-Intensity CBT therapists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners offering evidence-based interventions at Steps 2 and 3. We are part of East London NHS Foundation Trust which has been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are committed to ensuring a healthy work life balance and a positive working environment. We recognise that the HI CBT training course can be very intensive and pressured, especially with needing to balance course and site expectations. The post holder will be part of a supportive team, with access to peer support, high quality supervision and line management. This trainee High Intensity CBT therapist position is offered in conjunction with Royal Holloway University, giving you the opportunity to earn a PG Diploma in High Intensity CBT by the conclusion of the academic year. This position entails attending lectures at Royal Holloway two days a week and providing high-intensity, one-on-one assessments and CBT interventions for adults with common mental health problems for the remaining three days.
