We are looking for somebody who is able to work 37.5 hours per week. Ward 3 Day Case Unit is a mixed sex elective surgical unit covering all surgical specialities including ENT, Colo-rectal, Vascular, Gynaecology and breast. We also have a treatment room that we offer ophthalmology services. We have also successfully been accredited as a Surgical Hub within the Greater Manchester area and we are looking to appoint a Ward Leader who will be a positive role model and who can contribute to the trusts positive vision for the future and drive the Surgical Hub. The post holder will need to be a highly motivated Registered Nurse with significant relevant post registration experience. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a driving passion and determination to ensuring that quality and safety of patient care and experience is paramount. The post holder will demonstrate key leadership and management skills and will be responsible for providing clinical and professional leadership to the ward team. The post holder must have the skills needed to engage, inspire and motivate staff in the clinical area and a passion to initiate and sustain new innovative ways of working.
