Our group interventions service supports clients with severe and enduring mental health issues who do not meet the criteria for IAPT or Adult Community Mental Health Teams. Main duties of the job To provide an excellent standard of psychological and clinical input into the Primary Care Networks in order to meet the needs of people in primary care with complex psychological needs and provide support to general practice and mental health staff working in primary care. To work both autonomously and in consultation with colleagues, making appropriate decisions within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the employing organisation's policies and procedures. To provide highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and interventions to service users with more complex psychological presentations within the PCN. To offer advice and consultation on service users' psychological care to clinical colleagues within the PCNs and to other professionals as appropriate. To provide high quality supervision and complex case formulation to individuals and groups of staff in order to enhance clinical understanding and practice, and help develop and embed psychological formulation within primary care.
