We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative adaptable practitioner psychologist keen to develop experience, knowledge and skills in working in Paediatric Medical Specialties . Contributing to the care provided by a range of multidisciplinary specialist services including the paediatric diabetes team. We are advertising a fixed term maternity cover post until Jan 2025. The postholder will work alongside other psychologists in the paediatric diabetes team, including a consultant lead. Psychological Health Services has an expanding research portfolio and provide and support opportunities to develop this further. (Cont'd Under Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities) To provide psychology services into the paediatric diabetes service including direct and indirect clinical work. To provide psychological services including assessment, formulation and implementation of psychological interventions for children/ young people and their families within the diabetes service. Deliver these services in ward-based and out-patient settings as needed. Provision of psychological advice, consultation, training, and support for other professionals working across this care pathway as assigned by the Specialist Clinical Psychologist, Cluster Lead or Head of Services Support with development and evaluation of the service.
