The Paid Clinical Work Experience Opportunities for Disadvantaged Aspiring Clinical Psychologists is a national NHS England scheme to offer opportunities to underrepresented groups. Previous paid work experience at a very limited period or employment (such as sessions for less than the equivalent of four weeks in total) as a research assistant/assistant psychologist, will be accepted. CWPT has a wide range of services across adult, older adult, child and adolescent and learning disabilities services.The current roles will be place in our adult community mental health or learning disabilities services. It Would Include Direct work with services users (individual and groups) Observing the work of a range of professions to gain understanding of different roles and multidisciplinary team working. Shadowing psychological professionals Service-related projects including co-production, audit, and research. The roles are usually fulltime however there are opportunities to create flexible working patterns where this is supportive.
