Which may be potentially extended for another 4 months depending on the rota gaps. One post will be in Gastroenterology for 4 months from 4th December 2024 to 1st April 2025. One post will be in Medicine for the Elderly for 4 months from 4th December 2024 to 1st April 2025. Evenings and weekends on call included. Both post holders will be expected to work across wards, rehabilitation units and outpatients. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary therapy team and will have close supervision and training from the Consultants. Please note, that we reserve ourselves the right to close this vacancy early if sufficient amount of applications will be received for this role. The post holders will join the current team of resident doctors in the Division of Medicine and Integrated Care. Post 1 –part of the Gastroenterology team. Responsibilities include inpatient ward work, working closely with therapies, discharge team and social workers as well as liaising with community teams. Inpatient and outpatient duties are well supported by a Consultant of that specialty. Post 2 –part of Medicine for the Elderly team. The main responsibilities will cover the above.
