The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Quality & Safety Team and will be expected to organise and prioritise their own workload as well as the team's workload. Main duties of the job To be a valuable member of the Velindre Cancer Centre's Quality & Safety Team with collective responsibility for the successful functioning of the Team. To assist the Quality and Safety Manager in ensuring the effective co-ordination of all the Cancer Centre Quality & Safety Team's responsibilities and functions. To organise and provide unsupervised all necessary secretarial, clerical and administrative duties associated with the work of the Cancer Centre Quality and Safety Team. To act as the Personal Confidential Assistant to the Quality and Safety Manager. To be responsible for all administrative duties relating to the Velindre Cancer Centre Quality & Safety Management Group and Quality & Safety Hub including drafting agenda's, organising and sending out papers, keeping robust action logs and taking meeting notes. To be a support within Velindre Cancer Centre for Once for Wales Datix, CIVICA, and AMaT electronic systems having system oversight and undertake duties commensurate with the role as required by the Quality & Safety Manager. This may include attending national meetings. The successful candidate will have experience of managing competing priorities, the ability to work autonomously but also be a great team player.
