We have multiple Band 3 positions available for Health Care Support Workers and we are looking for passionate, caring, motivated people to join our highly skilled nursing teams. Our 12 bedded inpatient unit is located at Little France with the Children’s services but remain part of REAS and the Mental Health service. We offer the opportunity to work with talented teams within multidisciplinary environments and impact positively on the lives of thousands of patients and their families. Role Based in the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. Working with 12-18 year olds with various mental health illnesses. Learn skills such as venepuncture and how to monitor physical observations. Learn how to do meal support for young people with eating disorders. Ward based nursing skills. Flexible working hours where possible. Challenging but worthwhile role assisting young people through their journey to recovery. CAMHS Assertive Outreach Team Role We only have one Band 3 post so an important post and role within our team. To support physical health monitoring for young people up to 18 years old. This will include taking bloods and carrying out ECGs. To support the team with clinical admin and to accompany CPNs out on home visits. To be part of a small caring, fun team. Key Requirements Desirable to have competencies in physical health monitoring. To have previous experience in working with young people and a willingness to work with a variety of different illnesses.
