If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post. Post details A dedicated, enthusiastic and well-motivated person is required to join our imaging team in the very busy CT and MRI departments at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The postholder will help us provide the best service we can to our patients and referrers by assisting radiographers and radiologists with patient flow to and through our department, MRI safety procedures, biopsies and IV cannulation. Evening, weekend and extended day working in CT and MRI will also be expected as part of the 37 hour week. Having a SVQ 3 health and social care qualification or equivalent would be beneficial, but not essential.
