As a result of service transformation an exciting opportunity has arisen in Manchester’s School Nursing service. We are looking for an enthusiastic School Nurse Assistant who wants to make a difference by working as part of a team to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and the core screening programme offered at school entry. 37.5 hours Term Time Only Main duties of the job You will expected to contribute to the planning of the NCMP and Core Screening Programmes to school age children in a variety of settings under supervision. To work as part of a team to deliver the NCMP and Core Screening programme in schools and other settings To accurately record and document the outcome of the tests undertaken as part of these programmes, making appropriate referrals if indicated; and advising parents of the outcome of such tests; and explaining and supporting parents to understand any action/intervention required To provide administrative support in relation to all aspects of work undertaken within the Manchester Child Health record.
