This part time post is rotational with the main Dialysis Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The unit in Stonehaven is situated within Kincardine Community Hospital and is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It provides haemodialysis care for people living in the Stonehaven and surrounding areas on an outpatient basis. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills as well as current or recent experience of delivering patient care in an acute care hospital setting. They will have good IT skills and be motivated to learn and develop within the role as they will be expected to assist in the delivery of heamodialysis treatment to their patients. While previous dialysis experience may be an advantage, it is not essential as competency-based training will be given.
