We are looking to recruit an experienced nurse into the Band 7 Ward Sister/Charge Nurse role on Ward 28. This ward has 30 beds and is an area which delivers care to older adults with acute medical conditions. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years post registration experience at Band 6 or equivalent in an acute environment. We are seeking applications from highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individuals who have excellent communication skills. This post will give an opportunity for further professional development, and to embrace the challenge of working in a fast paced and diverse environment. We are looking for someone who is capable of lateral thinking and will work in an innovative manner with the resources available. The role of the successful candidate will be to consistently drive excellent clinical quality standards by providing visible clinical leadership to the team, and support them in the delivery of high quality, effective and evidence based care. Focus will be on patient experience, patient safety and providing assurance that standards are met for every patient, every time.
