We are looking for motivated and passionate individual who wants to work as part of the team to help provide exceptional care to a range of children and their families. We have a full time post available for a Band 2 ward clerk Woodlands ward is a Paediatric 16 bedded ward with an additional clinical assessment unit for general medical and surgical paediatric patients as well as day admissions. The unit can be a busy unit and therefore we are looking for someone who can multi task well and is organised. Please feel free to contact for further detail. The Post Holder Will Liaise with patients on the ward and their family. Have an excellent telephone manner Will assist all members of the MDT to perform their roles to the best of their ability. Assist in arranging discharge plans / follow up appointments for patients. Have an understanding of the hospital systems including PCS To act as a host and receptionist to children, their families and visitors To demonstrates due diligence whilst maintaining and promoting effective working practices commensurate with the post. Maintains confidentiality relating to the welfare and treatment of patients and staff at all times.
