The service is run from 8.30am to 5.00pm including weekends. You will be working in one of the Brent District Nursing teams. This is a fixed post position with the possibility of the post becoming permanent in Brent at the end of this contract. Main duties of the job The Healthcare Assistant will provide a mixture of general and specific care to a group of patients under theguidance and supervision of a registered nurse or allied health professional. The post holder will be expected to become proficient and competent in their area of practice byundertaking competency assessments specific to the area of clinical practice. The HCA will promote optimumindependence and individualised client centred care to a delegated caseload. The post holder will also support the Community Nursing Team to deliver against key performance indicators and maintain quality of the service.
