You will contribute to the broader aims of the service through joint working and consultation as required. The service is a lively, dynamic and supportive service with a range of clinical interests and developments. We are committed to CPD and supervision and encourage innovation and development, as well as contributing to local Clinical Psychology Training courses. You will join an established service which includes Clinical Psychologists, Specialist Therapists and Trainee and Assistant Psychologists. We are part of CYPPS and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) across LSCFT and have close links with our local Psychiatry Service in East Lancashire (East Lancashire Child and Adolescent Service). Applications are invited from suitably qualified clinicians with knowledge and experience of theory, assessment and intervention with the breadth of complex presentations seen in Children and Young Peoples Psychological Services. To provide assessment and therapeutic interventions based on evidence based therapeutic models to children, young people and their families/carers, working as part of Children & Young Peoples Psychological Services. To communicate effectively and liaise with children, young people, their families/carers with respect to their psychological care in the service. Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care. The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
