Pre-registration pharmacy technicians undertaking the final stages of L4 Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice/NVQ L3/BTEC Pharmacy services (and preparing to register), and community pharmacy technicians are encouraged to apply; full training will be provided. If a training period is required, your contract will be issued under Annex 21: 75% of a Band 5 for 12 to 18 months or until qualification is achieved. Main duties of the job To assist in the provision of a pharmaceutical service to Velindre NHS Trust and outside the trust under service level agreements. To dispense Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) and non-SACT to patients under the care of Velindre NHS Trust and to ensure the provision of a high quality, patient focused pharmaceutical service to patients. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
