The post holder will undertake a 6 month period of training, under the supervision of a registered practitioner, to prepare for progression to become a band 3 Senior HCSW. This includes: undertaking and successfully completing an internal training programme and work based competencies. Successful completion of the training programme, work based competencies and performance measures this will lead to a substantive band 3 post. At the end of the programme, the trainee will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours to act as a Senior CSW in the Endoscopy department The post will involve you working in some or all of the areas of the endoscopy department and will be dependent on the clinical workload.
