This full-time Dietetic Assistant position is perfect for someone with a keen interest in nutrition, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the Dietetic service. The role is based at Watford General Hospital and is supported by a team of 19 experienced static and rotational staff members. To provide a nutrition and dietetic service by carrying out supportive clinical and non-clinical duties in the department, on the wards and in outpatients settings. To work independently on a one to one basis with patients and carers, to facilitate treatment under the supervision of a dietitian. To organise and regulate the upkeep of equipment, stock and working environment on a daily basis. To communicate effectively with dietitians and other team members giving feedback on treatment and progress. To assist with updating catering sheets daily and liaise with catering team as appropriate. With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
