PTPTs are supervised to help in the supply of medicines and devices and learn how to assist Pharmacists and registered Pharmacy Technicians with advisory and clinical services. With appropriate training, PTPTs are expected to work individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and be able to work with minimum supervision with a high degree of autonomy, taking responsibility for the quality and accuracy of their work.
