What to expect

2. What do you know about the role of a Pharmacy Technician within the NHS, particularly at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust?
3. Why did you apply for this apprenticeship position specifically?
4. You mentioned having the necessary GCSEs; how do you think your academic background has prepared you for a role in pharmacy?
5. Have you had any previous experience in healthcare or pharmacy settings? If so, can you describe it?
6. As a Pharmacy Technician, attention to detail is crucial. Can you provide an example of a time when you demonstrated strong attention to detail in your work?
7. This role requires working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Can you share an experience where you successfully collaborated with others?
8. Given that some shifts may be on weekends or late in the evening, how do you plan to manage your work-life balance during the apprenticeship?
9. Describe a situation where you encountered a problem in a work or academic setting and how you resolved it.
10. Pharmacy Technicians often have to make decisions under pressure. Can you give us an example of how you’ve handled a stressful situation in the past?
11. How do you approach communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals? Can you provide an example of effective communication in your experience?
12. Why do you think a friendly and efficient pharmacy service is important for patients?
13. What are your long-term career aspirations within the pharmacy field?
14. How do you plan to keep up with developments in the pharmacy profession while training?
15. This apprenticeship includes a combination of on-the-job training and academic study. How do you feel about this blend of hands-on experience and theoretical learning?
