Duties & Responsibilities: Organize Ultrasound workload including charging patients, chaperoning patients when required and dealing with all necessary paperwork. To assist the radiographers in preparing patients for all imaging procedures as necessary. To assist with setting up for procedures as required. To assist in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the department. To help with the maintenance of stock levels in all rooms e.g. linen etc and consumables etc. To assist the Radiographers and other staff in the department as required. To rotate between Radiology and Outpatients Departments as required. Respond appropriately to accidents or untoward incidents/occurrences that arise within the unit and provide accurate documentation. To be compliant with all local policies and procedures and to act accordingly. Ensure the safety of patients and staff and ensure that all incidents are reported to the Manager. Ensure that all equipment is used safely and effectively.
