The Public Health, Population Health, and Evaluation Team sits within the Clinical Improvement Analytics domain of Data & Analytics. The team supports the prevention agenda by: Enabling systems to improve population health and reduce health inequalities. Maximising vaccination and screening uptake to reduce mortality and morbidity. Leading on evaluation and monitoring to ensure operational efficiency and value for money. Key activities include: Developing analytical strategies for population health, health inequalities, and evaluation. Collecting, processing, and reporting performance metrics for 11 screening programmes, e.g., % uptake of screening invitations. This includes publishing metrics, developing dashboards, and preparing for a transition of data collection and publication to other teams. Developing a dashboard to identify improvement areas (underperforming geographic or demographic groups) Analytical modelling future demand for screening/vaccinations and related workforce needs Providing data to support the Screening Quality Assurance programme by improving data systems, analysis, and reporting Providing evaluation and monitoring support for initiatives across NHSE.
