The exact content of this post could be decided in discussion with the care unit team and be adapted to personal interests/specialty interests. Applicants will be expected to have a broad based general medical training and to have completed their training in Acute Medicine or General Medicine or be within six months of obtaining their CCT. Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work the advertised hours will still be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on an individual basis between the appointee, Divisional Director, and Medical Director. Less than full time working is supported. The successful candidate will work for Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As such they are expected to work within the local policies, procedures, standing orders and standing financial instructions of the Trust. All medical and dental staff under contract to the Trust will be expected to comply with hospital Health and Safety policies.
