You will be required to work flexibly in a changing environment, to be confident and approachable. We are looking for someone to manage a team in focusing on the delivery of high standard patient cantered care whilst supporting the ongoing development and wellbeing of the team. You are advised to submit your application as early as possible to avoid disappointment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Oncology at Band 6 or Band 7 level. Excellent communication skills are essential and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate and sustain new and innovative ways of working which facilitate developments in nursing practice.You will be required to provide continuity in dealing with and overseeing operational Nursing issues on a daily basis. Therefore, the ability to lead, manage and direct a team efficiently and effectively is essential. You will be able to display supportive skills and an ability to nurture teams and develop the workforce efficiently. You will help shape future services working and supporting the Matron and Lead Nurse within the directorate.
