Are you looking for a new challenge with better hours, no split shifts, and paid enhancements for working weekend, then this could be a job for you, as a vacancy has arisen for a flexible Mobile Cook on a 37.5-hour contract to join Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust based throughout Hull and East Riding. We are looking for staff that are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of our teams. The post will be cooking and serving lunches and evening meals for our Inpatient Units. As well as assisting in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, trust staff, and visitors in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness. The post holder will require to be flexible and work as part of a team over a 7-day period (including weekends) on a as and when required basis in the provision of a high-quality, cost-effective cooking service in accordance with statutory legislation and Trust Policies regarding Health & Safety and Hygiene. The post holder will need to be able to commute effectively across Trust sites and the geographical area We are looking for staff that are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of a team and generate the provision of a high-quality, cost-effective food service in accordance with statutory legislation and Trust Policies regarding Health & Safety and food Hygiene. As a cook your duties include: planning meals and menus preparing food using kitchen equipment such as mixers storing food correctly making sure as little as possible is wasted As acookyou will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes.Dutiesinclude preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures.Cook, clean, assist othercooksand staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
