The Children's Complex Care Team support children with complex health needs in their own homes, schools, nurseries and occasionally hospitals. The service delivers care 24/7 so a willingness to work flexibly over a variety of shifts is essential. The shifts may consist of days, nights, evenings and weekend work. The ability to work independently and alone is essential, but as part of a wider team of both trained and untrained staff you must also be a team player. This role does require you to lone work the majority of the time whilst on shift, although you will be supported by a team of nursing staff The post holder will be trained to carry out a wide variety of clinical skills using a competency based framework. You will receive continuing support from trained nurses within the team. You will Experience with working with complex/special and needs is essential Have experience of working across agencies; education, social care services Have experience of working with children and young people Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills Demonstrate effective organisational skills Have a current driving license and have access to a car We offer; Excellent support and supervision Annual appraisal A strong commitment to continuing professional development About us Please refer to job description and personal specification for further details about the role.
