The Cellular Pathology laboratory prepares samples for histology, non-gynae cytology, and andrology. We also have a mortuary facility at Calderdale and Huddersfield. The successful applicant will hold the IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Cellular Pathology or MSc in Cellular Pathology and IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice in Histological Dissection and must be flexible to work early and weekend shifts. The work involves rotating and maintaining competence in all areas of Cellular Pathology and if required to complete the IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice in Histological Dissection within a 3-year timescale. There will be a requirement to cross site to Huddersfield.
