Assess individuals to identify when their job is at risk and develop suitable strategies to manage their return to work or alternative outcomes. To adopt a strengths-based approach, prioritising wellness, recovery and wellbeing where individuals are empowered and supported to identify their own goals, with the overarching objective being employment retention. Working with individuals, and their employers, to understand the perceived barriers and challenges, limitations and risks, that are threatening the retention of employment. To identify and meet the needs of individuals and their employers in a prompt and appropriate way to prevent escalation and maximise the chances of retention. Actively work with the client and their employer with a focus on matching the clients capacity with the employers business needs. To monitor and provide ongoing support to clients once back to work. Supporting clients with referral on to employment support services where the decision is to leave their current employment. To build new, and enhance current, networks with Mental Health services, Primary Care services, Private and Public sector organisations, 3rd sector providers & other relevant stakeholders to secure referrals and identify client support. Assisting the Team Lead and Senior Management to ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted to all key stakeholders. About us Accurately record and report Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data To support the team in promoting Employ-Ability in the community and with related publicity events and materials. Participate in team and external meetings to ensure service objectives are met. Keeping up to date with changes in employment law and in work support strategies such as Reasonable Adjustments, Access to Work, Mindful Employer, Mental Health First Aid. To keep up to date with information on grants and advisory services for individuals and employers; Advice on the Equality Act 2010. To undertake necessary training and supervision in order to be able to fulfil duties as described above. Relationship Management: Establish positive and integrated relationships with clinical teams, employers and other service providers. This includes: Arrange regular meetings with clients to monitor and review progress.
