They will need to be comfortable with animals and have a full UK driver's license. About us We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Female Cerebral Palsy Support Worker to join our team in Plymouth, Devon. Our client is in their 20’s and has cerebral palsy with other complex needs. They are a wheelchair user and do require the use of a hoist to transfer. Our client is mainly non verbal but can communicate. They love getting out and about in the community and attending appropriate activities, as well as attending a farm as they are a big animal lover. Our client requires 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 support during the night so we are looking to put together a great team. Please note the successful support worker will need to be comfortable with animals as well as a driver with a full UK drivers license. Pay Rate: £15 - £16 per hour Working Hours: 7:30am – 10pm (Friday/Saturday/Sunday & Monday) 10pm – 7:30am (Sleeping Nights) Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines. Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility. Administering medication and monitoring health conditions. Providing emotional support and companionship. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions. Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care. To be able to deal with challenging behaviours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
