About us Role title: NL PCN Clinical Director Term and reviews: This is a two-year fixed-term post, with the position being subject to an annual review after an initial 6-month probationary review. Introduction: Over the last five years, Primary Care Networks (PCNs) have become a vital component of the GP Primary Care landscape. They enable groups of practices to work together to build greater resilience and deliver improved care for patients by delivering certain services at scale. As per statutory guidance, each PCN must appoint a named Clinical Director (CD) who is accountable for ensuring the PCN delivers on the requirements set out in the Network Contract DES (the DES). Within North Lewisham PCN (NL PCN), the CD will work in close partnership with our PCN Managing Director (MD) and wider management team to ensure our PCN meets the goals/objectives set out by the board and member practices. In this role, you will be provide clinical input/insight as we design and evaluate services, offer clinical support and advice, and help bring together wider stakeholders (including the ICB). The CD will also help foster a culture of quality improvement within the PCN and ensure were meeting our requirements under the Network Contract DES. The CD will work pari-passu with our PCN MD to ensure we have both clinical and managerial skills at the table as we develop and maintain our PCN.
