What to expect

2. What do you think are the most important attributes for a successful Community Phlebotomist?
3. What experience do you have in phlebotomy, particularly in a community or home healthcare setting?
4. How do you ensure accuracy and attention to detail when taking blood samples?
5. Could you describe your proficiency with IT systems, particularly SystmOne, and any previous experience with similar software?
6. Can you give an example of a time when you successfully worked as part of a team? What role did you take on, and what was the outcome?
7. How do you approach communication with patients to ensure they feel comfortable and informed about the procedure?
8. Have you experienced a situation where there was a miscommunication within your team? How did you handle it?
9. This role requires working in a busy environment. How do you manage stress and maintain high standards of service delivery under pressure?
10. Can you give an example of a time when you had to use your initiative in your role? What was the situation, and what did you do?
11. How would you handle a situation where a patient is anxious or fearful about having their blood taken?
12. In your view, why is it important to have a caring and friendly disposition in a phlebotomy role?
13. This position involves acquiring new skills and knowledge. Can you discuss how you approach professional development and keeping your skills up to date?
14. What areas of phlebotomy or patient care are you particularly interested in developing further?
15. Do you have any questions for us about the role or the Trust?
