Head of Finance will be accountable to deliver growing financial success in the following key areas:o Long term financial modelling for Business Planning and Forecastingo Develop Business Cases for new Developments, expansion planning and engagement in strategic research.o Lead and direct the processes for required Accounting and Financial Reportingo Lead and plan the cost improvement programme for Productivity and Efficiency in the finance team and wider organisationo Provide strategic direction for Income Maximisationo Provide leadership and expert Advice and Training to all the finance team as required.o Lead, line manage and support the team and HPL management with all their financial responsibilities and continuous learning and development and improvemento Lead on the monitoring and performance of all HPL Contracts About us A strategic thinker with strong leadership skills managing a finance team of 7 and reporting directly to the Finance Director (FD). Support and deputise for the FD as required The main point of contact for the Finance team; responsible for the finance teams delivery and support the company to maintain financial success Provide financial input (backed by robust information) into HPLs strategic plans and business models Apply performance and management control of all financial activities across HPL and Trust divisions to ensure fluid informed reporting into the Trust consolidated accounts. Lead a team who can provide an outward facing, high quality and customer focused finance business partnering service to all stakeholders including; Trust divisions, external clients and HPL departments. Direct the production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and ensure all ad-hoc reporting, is robust and accurate. Ability to convey, recommend, influence and enact the actions required to provide financial assurances to senior management and executive boards Effectively and efficiently oversee and report on the management of budgets Contribute to the development of the company by providing business focused, commercially viable, creative advice Support the development of business cases, producing expert accounting and business information "}
