Hours 37.5 hours a week working 07:30- 17:30 or 8-18:00 Monday to Friday Saturday Sunday and BH 08:00 to 17:30 Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £40211 per annum FTE - depending on experience. As a Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will Work within a multi-disciplinary team carrying out comprehensive assessments, initiating and reviewing care plans, and developing treatment options. You will undertake medication rounds, and assess and treat patients who may have undergone traumatic experiences and may be distressed. You will assess patients health needs using an evidence based framework and be able to risk assess use sound clinical knowledge, as well as Open, maintain, close and take part in reviews of individuals being managed under the Prison Suicide and Self Harm risk management system known as Assessment, Care in Custody and Teamwork (ACCT). You will work with individuals providing advice, support and information and manage a case load of patients. You will monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects liaising with prescribers as required.
