You will be a Registered Science Technician with the Science Council or GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician. If you do not currently possess the required qualification and registration status, you must be willing to undertake the Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) course to gain these, in order to fulfil all elements of the job role. The SMT course runs over a 2 year period where tutoring sessions will be delivered online by subject matter experts weekly, accompanied by study time to complete relevant coursework and assignments. NB. The post holder must be in possession of Level 3 relevant Pharmaceutical Sciences of equivalent qualification and be a registered GPhC or RSciTech Technician to work as a Band 4. If the post holder is working towards this or needs to undertake this qualification and registration the post holder will be paid a spot salary of £26,110 per annum until relevant qualification and registration is gained.
