The job is a full time post comprising of 10 Programmed Activities (PAs). We are seeking enthusiastic and innovative colleagues to join the current team of five Stroke physicians and a Stroke nurse consultant to help us continue to deliver a high performing stroke service. Frimley Park Hospital has a well-deserved reputation for good quality stroke care and we have consistently achieved excellent outcomes for our patients. We have been recognised as providing one of the best stroke services in Surrey and South East Coast. Stroke is a strategic priority for the Trust as we believe our patients deserve the very best. Candidates are expected to have received specialty training in either Geriatrics, GIM, Neurology or Acute Medicine. Stroke subspecialty training is desirable but not essential. We will consider applicants on the Specialist Register or be within six months of being so at the time of interview as well as those currently in an Associate Specialist role with the appropriate experience.
