You will join a developing and innovative service that aims to provide the right care and treatment at the right time, to individuals within the Staffordshire area. You will become part of an established multi-disciplinary team that has a strong emphasis on delivering evidence based occupational therapy interventions to meet the needs of older adults with mental health needs and dementia. Working in an Older Adult mental health and dementia team with the flexibility of working in base, at home and in the community, in patient's homes and community settings. Delivering a high-quality clinical service to patients and their families in the community. Delivering occupational therapy interventions, in accordance with an agreed care plan, to an identified group of people experiencing mental health and dementia related difficulties under the guidance of a qualified Occupational Therapist. Support and co lead community activities and interventions with Service users/patients. Applicants need to be able to demonstrate drive and motivation in providing recovery based Occupational Therapy (OT) interventions. You will have the opportunity to work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, which includes other allied health professionals, nursing, medics, social workers and psychology. Your role will involve working closely with other agencies, carers, service users, families and the local community, ensuring continuity of service is provided at a high level.
