You will be based within the Ophthalmic Imaging Department, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team of consultant ophthalmologists, ophthalmic nursing and other support staff across multiple sites. This interesting and challenging role involves leading a team of photographers and imaging team to performing diagnostic tests on patients presenting with a variety of eye conditions. A knowledge of eye anatomy and pathology, along with extensive experience of specialist ophthalmic imaging equipment, is essential and please see criteria in JD. We are looking for an experienced and reliable person who is able to pay close and accurate attention to detail. You must also demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and training skills, be caring, enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a large team dedicated to providing a high quality patient focused care. Responsible for the day to day running of the photographic department within ophthalmology. Provide a full imaging service to the ophthalmology division at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
