Then we want to hear from you! We are looking for a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant at a Local Mental Health Team covering Newark and Sherwood. We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused Occupational Therapy Assistant with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary Local Mental Health Team. The post- holder will work alongside our experienced Occupational Therapist's to offer interventions that promote recovery, enabling patients to live their best life. About us This post is both rewarding and a vital role towards the delivery of treatment to our patients in the Newark and Sherwood area. To implement the high-quality Occupational Therapy intervention plans collaboratively with the patients in their own homes and local environments, alongside the qualified staff. Professional and clinical supervision will be provided by an identified Occupational Therapist. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
